Description John 2022-10-09 15:26:04 UTC
I would like to suggest two additional features for the ghostwriter Fullscreen mode (to really be distration-free):

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Ghostwriter
2. Press F11
3. Type "Hello" and press Enter

OBSERVED RESULT
1. I can't hide the bottom toolbar (has i can with the menu bar)
2. i get a scrollbar for just one word (?!)

EXPECTED RESULT
1. There should be an option to hide the bottom toolbar (as there is for the menu bar)
2. there should be an option to hide the scrollbar and show it only on mouse-over

I'm not fond of "peek-a-boo" interfaces, as the missing UI items can confuse the user. The only reason there is an option to hide the menu bar in full screen mode is because it's become a "standard" option for distraction-free editors. The path I've chosen to take is to make UI elements "faded", with the editor text more prominent. I hope this makes sense.
