I can open a file named File™.rar just fine with ark. Can you specify with ark version are you using? Also where are you opening it from? Maybe it would make sense to share that file with us? Sorry for the late reply, - I'm using Ark v21.12.1 - I'm opening the file from /Home/Apps <-- Filesystem is ext4 - I have attached a test file to this issue here Thank you for your help! And it works fine with ark on a normal PC with both the unrar and unarchive backends.
