Well, what happens? Don't leave us in the dark! :)
If there's a freeze, *what* freezes? Firefox? Or the whole system? What are the characteristics of the freeze? Can you still move the mouse pointer?
Also please tell us what version of Plasma you're using, and whether you're using the X11 session or the Wayland session.
I am using the kde-unstable repo with the daily builds. I am on X11. During the freeze I can move the mouse and minimize the firefox window but the rest of the system does not respond Thanks. When you say "the rest of the system", does that mean "the Plasma panels and desktop" or does it also include other app windows? (In reply to Nate Graham from comment #3) > Thanks. When you say "the rest of the system", does that mean "the Plasma > panels and desktop" or does it also include other app windows? Panels, desktop and the other app windows. The only thing I can do is just minimize the windows but can not reopen them or right click Sorry, I forgot to mention that after the screenshot I copy it to the clipboard with Ctrl + C or using the copy button in Firefox *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 446581 *** Temporary solution that worked for me is to disable Firefox notifications: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1283277 https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1345694 |
