STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Krusader
2. Right-click on main toolbar
3. Select new icon size

OBSERVED RESULT
Icon size does not change.
When the "icon size" popup is invoked again, "default" is still selected.

EXPECTED RESULT
Icon size should reflect newly selected size, if not immediately, at least on restart of Krusader.
Newly selected icon size should remain selected in the "icon size" popup menu.
If, for some reason the change cannot be effected, an explanatory error message should be displayed.

The failure to retain the icon size  setting appears to be an artifact of the Ubuntu Studio Dark icon theme.  With Papirus or Breeze Dark icon themes, Krusader allows (and retains) the selection of different icon sizes in the toolbar but still doesn't use them.  The size is only affected by "System Settings".

This bug was solved in the last Krusader release (2.8.0). Can you manage to update to latest version and check if issue happens again?

The repos I have for Ubuntu Studio 22.04 LTS only have 2.7.2 at this time.  As soon as I get the update I will check it out.

Today I have tested "Toolbar Settings" with several icon themes: Adwaita, Breeze, GNOME and Oxygen. Everything works without problems.
