I'm using the grouped items feature, works fine
Only "problem" is when you are running a search. If the grouped items are closed , the result of the search may be incomplete , and it can take some time before you can remember the grouped items are closed.

suggestion would be:
- either to run a search with the "Grouped Items as Open"
- either propose to change this flag in the search interface

As discussed in the other bug, the search includes all items. Whether they are displayed is a view option. A search with open or closed groups is unnecessary.

This flag is also not part of the search, we could think about a display in the status bar like "you still have items in closed groups".

Hi Maik

I understand , this is a problem of display, but from my point of view, when you are searching for a set of pictures based on criterias , you are expecting to see all result whatever the display options are. That why I was suggesting to override the flag to display a consistent result of a search.
Now the message "you still have items in closed groups" is for me just a workaround.

You can't just start from your point of view. There are users who want to "hide" the original/unedited image and also don't want it to appear in a search.
