I don't quite understand what this means. Can you paste the output in your terminal window when you use your package manager to install KSnip that shows that it wants to remove Spectacle?

I didn't understand what you ask, if you provide a step by step, maybe I can provide what you need. Otherwise I leave it to the Neon developers once you've changed the product to Neon.
