Description m.wege 2022-09-04 21:32:42 UTC
Just discovered color-kde-systemsettings-module. There is an error message "Die Gnome-Farbverwaltung muss für die Kalibrierung von Geräten installiert sein" -> The gnome color management must be installed to calibrate devices. I would like to propose to add a button which allows to install the missing software instead of just presenting that message.

The much bigger problem here is that the relevant tool doesn't actually exist any more, see https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=433068

Marking this as a duplicate of 433068
If and when that gets resolved, it will be up to distros to make sure all dependencies are installed
