STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Go to Empfänger
2. Choose multiple recipient
3. Choose Standard-Kategorie
4. Select Eine Kategorie vorschlagen

My German is inadequate, but it might be useful if you would expand the "details" and copy what it says.  (The text is easier to deal with than the screenshot.

Hi Jack, sorry that I missed the Details. Here it is

The current implementation does not foresee to modify the details of multiple payees. Therefore, in master the details are disabled as soon as more than one payee is selected. Maybe, that slipped through in the 5.1 branch. Multiple selection is still needed to do things like deleting and merging.

After step 2. all tabs on the right side are disabled. A default category cannot be entered.
