Description SolidTemperature0 2022-09-01 19:13:39 UTC
SUMMARY
Trying to open a video file (I tried with multiple .mkv that I know vlc can open because thy work when I open them on vlc by double click) by drag and dropping on a vlc window from dolphin results with the impossibility to interact with vlc anymore (from it's gui or trying to closing it from the title bar). Note that the dropped video doesn't get opened by vlc, but, if you already have opened a video in background, that video continues to play just fine, meaning that vlc hasn't crashed.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open vlc
2. Drag and drop a video into the vlc window

OBSERVED RESULT
Can't interact anymore with the vlc window

EXPECTED RESULT
Vlc opens the video as expected.
