I can reproduce this.

And so to be clear, the issue is wider than with the folder view widget. In dolphin the files don't show up either (activity folders are empty).
Comment 3 Gauthier 2022-09-07 09:06:54 UTC
I wonder if the product should be set as frameworks-kactivities instead of frameworks-plasma?
Comment 4 Gauthier 2022-09-16 07:47:30 UTC
I wanted to wait for the update to 5.98 before following this up but I'm afraid to report the issue is still there.
Comment 5 Gauthier 2022-09-16 07:51:10 UTC
I have marked this bug as confirmed cause I can reproduce but I am not sure this is the right thing to do or whether these kind of actions should be left to KDE developers. I looked up the bugs.kde doc and this point is not very clear (and so I thought I'd try and if I need some particular privileges it would tell me so).
Comment 6 pipapo 2022-09-16 12:51:23 UTC
This bug is still existing in 5.98.
Comment 7 Gauthier 2022-09-18 21:14:10 UTC
Just tested in Neon unstable (18/09/22) with Plasma 5.25.80 and Framework 5.98 and the bug is still present.
Comment 8 Gauthier 2022-09-25 23:01:44 UTC
Possible duplicate of Bug 343110 ?

Except I'm pretty sure the issue only started since updated to framework 5.97 and not before (perhaps there was also an update of KDE gears that got pushed at the same time in Neon repo so the issue could possibly come from there too but I can't remember for sure)
Comment 9 Gauthier 2022-10-08 10:26:10 UTC
Is anyone else reproducing this?
Comment 10 alx.kuzza 2022-11-25 21:01:22 UTC
This is a duplicate for https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=343110 (fixed).

Did you paste the wrong address? I don't see how that is related.
Comment 12 Gauthier 2022-11-26 13:51:32 UTC
Something went very weird as I also quotes that same bug report in comment 8 and it definitely wasn't that one. So I don't know what's happened but now bug 343110 is a different bug, indeed unrelated.
Comment 13 Gauthier 2023-02-01 14:18:34 UTC
The issue is now fixed!
