STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1.  Create new document (doc 1)
2.  Create a new layer with text
3.  Create second document (doc 2)
4. Select vector layer from doc 1 in layers Docker and copy it via Ctrl+C
5. Select doc 2 and paste the layer via Ctrl+V

Forgot to mention. The application is installed from Windows Store
