(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: kicker
Version: KDE 3.0.2
Severity: wishlist
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
Compiler: gcc3.1
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: and gcc2.96

request:
integration of the KasBar extention on to the kicker.

im not fond of the "taskmanager" it throws the look of the kicker off makes it look primitive. i also like the KasBar much better as it adds and removes icons and dynamically adjests its size.

so the request is to make the KasBar able to dock INSIDE of kicker and act as the taskmanager. also this would look great if the kicker is set to "autoresize" for the icons.

I am already working on this - I'm making an applet version of Kasbar. Rich.

Any progress in making kasbar into a applet?

I would like this enhancement too.

Is there any evolution regarding this subject?

Integration of Kasbar as an applet into Kicker could be an alternative to applet support within Kasbar... or vice versa! See this whish report: http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=147497

Kasbar is no more developed and it will not be ported on KDE4. Kasbar bugs are being closed as "UNMANTAINED".

For specific kasbar feature which doesn't exists in the new KDE4 please open a new wish for KDE4. :-)

Many thanks.
