Bug 458172

SUMMARY
Using copy and paste on vector layer (either in the same document or to another document) resulting a crash, even though the vector layer is empty. However, using duplicate (Ctrl+J) works just fine.

My workaround for this is creating a new vector layer on the second document, then manually select and copy the vector elements on the first document, then pasted it to the second document's vector layer.

(Pardon if this went into a wrong component, I'm a bit confused whether this should go into Layer Stack or Layers/Vector)


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1.  Select a vector layer
2.  Right-click > "Copy Layer"
3.  "Paste Layer" either on the same document or another document

OBSERVED RESULT
Krita crashes to desktop

EXPECTED RESULT
Vector layer got copied
