Announce mode? You mean annotate?
You can use, and change, any of the preconfigured keyboard shortcuts to use a specific capture mode.

I'm not sure how to make this, it sounds like some image recognition tool to recognize windows in a picture. I'd suggest using either the above suggestion with shortcuts or take fullscreen and crop what you need.
You can do that. Spectacle > Configure Spectacle > When Launching Spectacle > Do not take a screenshot automatically. And then take a rectangular region screenshot manually after you launch the app. |
