SUMMARY
***
There are 3-4 different capture modes within spectacle:
- Full Screen
- Rectangular Region
- Active Window
- Window under Curser
- Multimonitor stuff
***

When I start's spectacle with print key the fullscreen was saved and than I can select the capture mode I really want.

Why can't it be the other way around.
1. click Print
2. screenshot of the fullscreen
3. I can select at the preview area the window I want to save, or I switch to announce mode to crop the window, ...

At kwin you can do "everything" with each element at the screen. Compare to spectacle which save a stupid image of the screen.

Announce mode? You mean annotate?

You can use, and change, any of the preconfigured keyboard shortcuts to use a specific capture mode.

I'm not sure how to make this, it sounds like some image recognition tool to recognize windows in a picture. I'd suggest using either the above suggestion with shortcuts or take fullscreen and crop what you need.

You can do that.

Spectacle > Configure Spectacle > When Launching Spectacle > Do not take a screenshot automatically. And then take a rectangular region screenshot manually after you launch the app.
