SUMMARY
Plasma rearranges Task Manager Tasks on resolution change if the newer resolution is lower than the former resolution. It's 100% reproducible.


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Change the resolution to a lower value

OBSERVED RESULT
Plasma rearranges Task Manager Tasks

EXPECTED RESULT
Plasma should not rearrange Task Manager Tasks on resolution change

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This problem is not present in older versions like 5.24 and bellow.

After the latest updates it occurs only when a game changes the resolution. Here's a video:

Thanks! Looks like this happens with manual arrangement. Does it happen if you have your Task Manager icons arranges automatically in some way?

If I open Firefox first and Dolphin second, without manual arrangement, it still happens.

Now I tried Doom Eternal at the max resolution for my monitor - 2048x1080. When I exit the game, the panel gets rearranged for the game lowers the resolution to 1920x1080.

I think this bug was related to 456385. Now it's fixed with Plasma 5.25.5.
