Works as expected with my ThinkPad X1 Yoga. I guess that's why I'm not running Plasma on wla C64

do you have any idea which code is responsible for the battery applet? i could possibly workaround by making it read the udev result works fine on windows pe on the same machine over a 4-trial test it took almost exactly 2 minutes each time, with a deviation of +- 5s.
