The title says it all. 
- Moving the canvas with Pan Tool is fine and fast. 
- Everything is fine when other transform methods are triggered.

Yes, liquify is an expensive operation. Operations like that are handled in a background thread, but they still take CPU power, so the gui thread has less power available. I don't think we should spend a lot of time on this?

Up to you guys. I have no big problem with this issue either. I just felt I needed to report.
