I cannot modify a release and save.
I do a release of expense and save.  After I try modify a date and save, and it's not possible.  I get the question if it's to save but the system doesn't save.

Are you trying to make the date of a transaction in the past?  Yes, you can do this, but you cannot have a transaction before the opening date of the account.  If that is your situation, then you need to edit the account to change the opening date to before the date of any transaction you want to create in that account.  Then you should be able to change the transaction date.
