Do you recall when this started happening? After an update, or just randomly? What does `qdbus org.kde.KWin /ColorCorrect org.kde.kwin.ColorCorrect.inhibited` say? I'm setting this to NEEDSINFO for now. I still suspect it's something inhibiting it — maybe we should indicate that in the applet. If other things can inhibit Night Color, and we can know that programmatically, that sounds like a great idea to me. (In reply to Nate Graham from comment #3) > If other things can inhibit Night Color, and we can know that > programmatically, that sounds like a great idea to me. We can know programmatically if Night Color is inhibited, but we can't know what inhibited it or why. Seems like an oversight in the protocol tbh. Later I'll try to add app name and reason arguments to the protocol, and fix all usages in KDE to match. By the way, does anything outside KDE use Night Color inhibition? Now that I look at it, the applet does indicate inhibition. Dear Bug Submitter, This bug has been in NEEDSINFO status with no change for at least 15 days.
