I really don't know if this report if applicable, sorry if it isn't. However, Kdenlive is generating notifications that have markdown, which not every DE might support it. GNOME, for example doesn't.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Use GNOME (I used version 42.3)
2. Render a video
3. Check the notification informing that the rendering finished

OBSERVED RESULT
Notifications without markdown.

EXPECTED RESULT
Notifications have markdown, which doesn't work in every DE.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Affected version: Kdenlive 22.04.3 (Flathub)
Platforms: org.kde.Platform 5.15-21.08 / org.kde.PlatformTheme.QGnomePlatform 5.15-21.08
OS: Fedora 36 Workstation

In the KNotifications documentation, it says:

> In Plasma workspace, the text is shown in a QML label which uses Text.StyledText, ie. it supports a small subset of HTML entities (mostly just formatting tags)

> If the notifications server does not advertise "body-markup" capability, all HTML tags are stripped before sending it to the server

Maybe this is a bug in KNotifications?

Please try with the latest AppImage version 24.12.2 to see if the issue still exists. https://kdenlive.org/en/download/
