A moment when I am trying to change it

When I use "Shift+Alt" (to change a language) in Krita, then I can't use pan (I am using "пробел", but I have a staying brush, it doesn't change) and Palette. But when I change a window, this bug isn't there.

I checked in Krita and my OS, but I didn't find a hotkey which gets me the bug.

My friend has it too, he uses Linux.

Hi, Alexander!

The problem is that in most of the apps Alt key activates menu, which grabs focus from any window control window had before. That usually depends on the order you press Alt and Shift. Sometimes, when you decided to change the language and rejected the idea halfway, you may end up pressing raw Alt key, which changes focus to the menu.

The same problem happens in most other applications that have a menu.

The solution that I decided to use about ten years ago was to change the default language switch shortcut to Ctrl+Shift. It solves the problem on all the systems, Linux and Windows (yes, the same problem exists on Windows, even in Microsoft Word).
