I have exactly the same problem! If you "select highest quality (losless) transcoding" then you will always get a comparatively huge size, that is normal. Mobile videos often have a variable bitrate, no vidoe editor likes that, especially because then picture and sound are not always in sync. If you only need the picture and not the sound, try not to encode. That would be a quick and easy way, though not ideal. An alternative would be not to choose the best quality.
