Created attachment 151036 [details] example video SUMMARY I don't know if this is a kwin or nvidia bug, but I have an nvidia application profile that applies mild sharpening and is set to "Always applies". It used to only sharpen games but not the desktop. But starting somewhere around kwin 5.25, the profile gets applied to my desktop. But it's like it keeps getting applied over and over recursively. If a window moves, it refreshes back to normal and then starts getting sharpened again. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. create an nvidia application profile that always applies 2. restart kwin_x11 OBSERVED RESULT sharpening profile gets applied to desktop EXPECTED RESULT sharpening profile should not apply to desktop SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS KDE Plasma Version: 5.25.3 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.96.0 Qt Version: 5.15.5 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
