I'm afraid the current UX is intentional. Do you know how to intend more than one thing? That's what an option is--a choice. |
Created attachment 150754 [details] full cascading SUMMARY KDE imitated Windows 95 partial but not full cascading menu but should have full option (to immediately see everything and select faster). STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Use or upgrade to Kicker. 2. Fill up main menu or a submenu to beyond screen. 3. Cascade (slow). OBSERVED RESULT KDE imitated Windows 95 partial but not full cascading menu but should have full option (to immediately see everything and select faster). If menu extends past screen, with partial cascading you can't immediately see everything then must use scroll-bars or mouse wheel (takes 20 scrolls on some our menus four times long as average (1920x1080) screen and even 10 on my 4K) but full cascading menu extends more columns immediately sees, for which you can either scrollover or move mouse to (both much faster). EXPECTED RESULT Full cascading option. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: KDE Neon 5, Slackware 13 to 15.1-current. KDE Plasma Version: 4, 5 KDE Frameworks Version: 4, 5 Qt Version: 4, 5 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION KDE is almost three decades behind the times in not having (fastest) full cascading!
