Description frederic.parrenin@univ-grenoble-alpes.fr 2022-07-15 13:22:29 UTC
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Use a dual screens setup with cloning mode
2. Zoom on the view with CTRL-=

OBSERVED RESULT
The zoom view is applied to both screens

EXPECTED RESULT
There should be a way to zoom on one screen and not the other.
This way, a visually impaired person could have the large scale view on one screen and a zoomed view on the other.
Apparently, this is possible on MacOS.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Debian 12 Bookworm
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.24.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.94.0
Qt Version: 5.15.4

Can you describe a use case for this?
Comment 2 frederic.parrenin@univ-grenoble-alpes.fr 2022-07-17 09:41:19 UTC
The use case, as I described, would be to have the large-scale view on one screen and the zoom on the other screen.\
Actually, I am thinking that this could be achieved by using Kmag on the alternate screen, so maybe this RFE is not so interesting.

Yep, I think that would get you what you want.
