Should I additionally report this to the maintainers of DBus? Have you ever had a Global Menu widget that you then later stopped using? Created attachment 150386 [details] Ark affected. SUMMARY: Menu-bars are unable to appear. STEPS TO REPRODUCE: 1. Invoke any Qt-based software that utilizes menu-bars. OBSERVED RESULT: Menu-bars are unable to appear, and unable to be invoked by the relevant button that is possible to add to the Window-decoration. ``` dolphin Failed to register window menu, reason: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply ("Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken.") ``` EXPECTED RESULT: Windows should provide menu-bars if they are programmed to. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS: Windows: Unknown whether affected. macOS: Unknown whether affected. Linux/KDE Plasma: Affected. KDE Plasma Version: “5.25.5”. KDE Frameworks Version: “5.94.0”. Qt Version: “5.15.4”. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Toolbars operate. This problem perfectly coincides with all Qt-based software that utilizes menu-bars becoming incredibly slow to invoke. This consequently excludes Spectacle. I am utilizing the Fedora 35 kernel with Fedora 36 because the newest kernel is unable to invoke.
