SUMMARY
There is no maximum value set for <widget class="QSpinBox" name="displayVerticalLineAtColumn"/> so the maximum users can set is the Qt default, which is 99. While a very high value makes no sense, some users do have / prefer setups with, say, 120 - 140 chars.
This is defined in EditProfileAppearancePage.ui   (current main)


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Konsole
2. Open the profile settings
3. Try to increase the "vertical line at column ..." setting to > 99

This seems to be a QSpinBox issue - The default maximum value is 99.

fixed in 41ae51e01b21cc2e81fc5e92398486c798f03fa5
