For some reason my Desktop freezes after an unknown amount of time, probably 10-30 minutes of web browsing/discord/general settings tweaking. Has happened twice now and is always triggered by activating KRunner.

I've attached as much info as I can if you need any more info please let me know thanks very much

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Not entirely sure how to reproduce, it seems to happen after an arbitrary period of time after I trigger KRunner with the Super key

OBSERVED RESULT
Desktop locks up for ~10 seconds

EXPECTED RESULT
Desktop does not lock up

Do you have KRunner re-bound to your super key? Typically that opens the Kickoff Application Launcher menu, not KRunner.

When you say the desktop freezes, does this mean just Plasma? Or the whole system? Can you move the mouse? Does Alt+Tab work?

Krunner is rebound to super yes, I believe I did it with this command, though it was a little while ago so i might be mistaken

kwriteconfig5 --file ~/.config/kwinrc --group ModifierOnlyShortcuts --key Meta "org.kde.kglobalaccel,/component/krunner_desktop,org.kde.kglobalaccel.Component,invokeShortcut,_launch"
qdbus org.kde.KWin /KWin reconfigure

The mouse is able to move but I cannot interact with anything, I'm not sure if this would mean it's plasma or the whole system I'm afraid. I'll try the alt tab next time it happens

many thanks
