*** Bug 406128 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** |
Created attachment 150132 [details] Window List applet - lacking sorting by workspaces Currently, window list applet doesn't sort windows by workspace like the windows switcher menu (see attachments). In order for a user to invoke the windows switcher menu, the desktop must first be exposed, requiring to un-maximize windows or show desktop in the first place. On the other hand, the window list applet can be accessed anytime on the panel. Although there could be interest in making the window switcher menu to be invoked via keyboard shortcut, I'm guessing the easier solution would be to just improve the window list applet to group windows by workspace.
