This is rare. I'm have been using Steam with plasma 5.24.x and now 5.25.0. I don't have this issue. The active window goes to full screen and other doesnt change at all. However I use always the external mornitor for playing. my setup is Kubuntu 21.10 Plasma 5.25.0 X11 Nvidia GPU. Regards Galder We just need more users to report this issue. Additional info: - Observed on: * Crusader Kings 3 (native, haven't tried with Proton) * Hitman III (Proton) * Euro Truck Simulator 2 (native and Proton) * Minecraft (Native, all versions) - I have a correction: It's only Firefox that goes black. Other programs (incl. other browsers) just "blink" and return - Display combination 1440p 240Hz Samsung Odyssey G7 (main gaming monitor) and ASUS TUF 24" 1080p 144Hz ROG G14 (2020)) 1080p 120 Hz and a 1080p 120Hz AOC monitor. I have recorded a video to show what happens: https://youtube.com/shorts/KRYwuOLz2F8 Hope the additional information helps!
