*** Bug 456186 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** It seems a very niche feature even if it did exist before. We are trying to simplify some of the more obscure options. For that reason I'll keep it open but I'm removing from VHI regression to wishlist. It wasn't very discoverable either so it could do with a think about the UI for exposing these additional actions that aren't just selecting. (context menu, a toolbar or something) It is now mapped to middle-click, at least here on my machine… Right-click would be more convenient. Ah, c’mon, a niche feature? If you are a power user working with virtual desktops/workspaces on a proper monitor setup, this if a feature you want to use every day. It’s even *there*, but just on the wrong mouse button (middle-click instead of right-click, which makes it harder to click). At least in the Grid effect. But I can think of an overlay when hovering above window decorations (and *just* there please) in all those WindowHeap effects with a couple more discoverable options like pin. Still, mouse buttons should be mapped. This has been fixed a while back in the classical desktop grid effect: Right clicks pin windows like in 5.25. It has not been implemented in the overview effect yet. |
