SUMMARY
After release Ubuntu 22.04 one of feature was RDP native support, VNC was marked deprecated.


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Install KUbuntu 22.04
2. Install krfb
3. Run krfb

OBSERVED RESULT
runned vnc server by port 5900

EXPECTED RESULT
runned rdp server by port 3389

I just want to say that I was very confused that KRFB is only VNC. RDP is a much superior protocol. I very much want to see RDP support. What is the plan on this? Do the developers agree that this is a wanted feature? If so, any plans when this is being developed?

Aaaaah!

This bug report helped a lot!

I wouldn't have thought that the native KDE desktop sharing does /not/ support incoming connections using RDP from Windows!

So, yes falling back to VNC for now - but this is definitely a wanted feature if you ask me.

krdp has been packaged for arch now. I believe this could be closed now.
