SUMMARY
When launching the overview using the keyboard shortcut, windows are organized by virtual desktop, and desktops are shown at the top of the screen. When using the overview gesture (4-finger swipe), windows from all desktops are shown together and there is no desktop picker.

4-finger swipe doesn't activate Overview, it activates Present Windows. Which is different from Overview. :) It has a search that filters windows rather than doing a systemwide KRunner search, and it doesn't show virtual desktops in a bar.
