Ultra slow, takes about 20 times longer to encode and then crashes or causes the encode to stall or fail, there is an annoying window that pops up with MLT in the corner and its completely black.

I tried to encode a file of 9 minutes long and it was running for 20 minutes and stuck with 14 seconds remaining and failed..

I have been saying that there have been issues, plugins disappearing then reappearing and poor performance, especially on an octa core machine.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1.  Load up any video you want to edit
2.  Edit it in some small way
3.  Render the file.

OBSERVED RESULT
Ultra slow whilst other programs work at blisteringly fast speeds

EXPECTED RESULT
Ultra fast and quick encoding, which don't happen...
