STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. I have tested it with built-in microphone.
2. I also tried with my Platronics C520-M USB headphone.
3. I also tried with Anker Soundcore Life Q10 with same result. 

OBSERVED RESULT
Application Crashes.

EXPECTED RESULT
Must be record audio with the above three input audio devices.

Thanks for your report. This is a known Mac issue, related to app permissions and signing, we are trying to solve it.

Looks like Kdenlive 22.08.2 no longer crashes when trying to record, but audio recording still doesn't work on Mac as reported in #460483.

This is now solved in Kdenlive 24.05.x, which runs on Qt6 and audio recording was rewritten in a way that is now compatible with MacOS
