SUMMARY
System Monitor indicators broken after upgrade from 5.20


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Install Plasma 5.20 on Debian
2. Upgrade to 5.24 using the testing repository
3. Launch System Monitor

OBSERVED RESULT
The indicators (CPU usage, etc.) do not show at all

EXPECTED RESULT
The indicators show as they normally would

Linux/KDE Plasma: Debian 11, Kernel 5.17.0-1-amd64
KDE Plasma Version: 5.24.5

Please verify that ksystemstats is running.  You can force restart ksystemstats with `ksystemstats --replace`.

Tried that, still isn't working. I did get this message:
Could not determine Plasma version, got:  "The name org.kde.plasmashell was not provided by any .service files"

Looks ike there is a more serious setup issue on your system if plasmashell is not on the bus.
