STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. switch to wayland session
2. launch konsole
3. observe 0x0 window

OBSERVED RESULT

a unusable 0x0 window opens requiring to manually resize to a sane size

EXPECTED RESULT

a standard 80x24 window to open

This is somehow related to graphics hardware since the issue isn't present with Nvidia 9400 running with the nouveau driver.
