Description p d 2022-06-05 05:28:20 UTC
SUMMARY
On vertical panels, even with the "Spacing between icons" setting set to "Small", icons have too much spacing in between them as of Plasma 5.24.90 beta

Here's a comparision:
Plasma 5.24.x : https://i.imgur.com/MooNeIF.jpeg
Plasma 5.24.90 : https://i.imgur.com/Am9ooIT.jpeg

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Upgrade to Plasma 5.24.90
2. Use icons only task manager in a vertical panel
3. Notice the spacing is too much compared to Plasma 5.24.x , even with it set to "Small"

OBSERVED RESULT

Spacing is too much

EXPECTED RESULT

Spacing to be the same as previous plasma release, or at least give an option to achieve previous spacing.

Due to changes in Task Manager icon sizing for Plasma 5.25, I'm afraid this is intentional at that panel thickness.
