SUMMARY

If I send pictures I took with my phone's camera to my PC via KDE connect, the GPS coordinates get removed!?

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Take picture with location data
2. verify GPS coordinates are present (exif)
3. share pictures via kde connect to PC
4. verify pictures on PC, if coordinates (exif info) are still there

OBSERVED RESULT
GPS-coordinates are removed

EXPECTED RESULT
Exif information is still present

Did you use the "Share and receive" module and the "Send files" action in KDE connect? That way, the file will not be modified.

I can reproduce this issue on Android 11 if I share the image to KDE connect via the gallery app.

Yes, its with using share from my phone's gallery
