STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. use Plasma Wayland session
2. make sure 'Show splash screen' option is checked in 'Misc' section of K3b settings
3. open K3b

OBSERVED RESULT
two entries appear in the task manager while K3b is starting and the splash screen does not appear

EXPECTED RESULT
the splash screen works

on X11 the splash screen works inconsistently

Cannot reproduce consistently, but this bug occurs often, mainly when opening K3b via krunner.
