Kate shouldn't be using kio-fuse, that would only happen for sublime. Moving to kio-extras | samba for now. open kate with the various variables described here and grab a log please https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/Debugging_IOSlaves/Debugging_kio_smb#Reporting_Bugs This is now working for me with Kate; not sure what changed. However, neither Sublime nor LibreOffice Write work, they still show I/O errors on saving the file. This is no longer a critical bug for me; as such no further debugging / followup will be provided. Feel free to reproduce or close as needed. Thank you for your help in this. |
