I can reproduce the issue. Text copied outside of the color picker cannot be pasted into it. I can copy a color code from one part of the dialog and paste it into the text field in another part of the dialog, though. However pasting text in the color dialog that was added to the clipboard outside of it workd for the dialog in Kolourpaint, so it seems to be specific to the color dialog for this particular wallpaper plugin. Can't reproduce on current Plasma Wayland on master. I can paste hex colors into the "HTML" field from Kate or Firefox. I can still reproduce it if the color text was actually copied from the picker window itself--but not if the text was copied from a different app. Very interesting. This would seem to suggest a bug in the MIME data sent by the picker with its paste data, which means it's a Qt bug. Dipta, can you file this upstream at https://bugreports.qt.io? Thanks! Hi, sorry for the delay. The mail thread regarding this bug report was hidden beneath piles of other mail in KMail. I'm on Fedora now and the bug is no longer reproducible.
