Are you still seeing this? I can see somewhat of a different animation than in Breeze when using ksysguard6, but it doesn't seem that bad as your video. And KSysGuard has been replaced by System Monitor so are you seeing this bug in any place on your desktop? I can still reproduce it with ksysguard6-git from AUR. Same steps, set widgets to oxygen and scaling to 125%. Not a big deal for me as I don't use scaling anymore (1440p 32" screen). Also my KDE is on entirely different hardware now. I'm not sure if it happens anywhere else. I'm using Ubuntu fonts, with Source Code Pro as mono font, if that's of any help, I'm pretty sure it was all Ubuntu fonts on my original report. As for ksysguard being deprecated, new system monitor is a busy bloated mess, and one meter on main screen is broken for me (Raid0 on ZFS). Maybe it looks decent on Hi-DPI screens, who knows. All I expect from system monitor is simple charts for system stats and process list, that's it. It's been solved 20 years ago. Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 6.5.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.22.0 Qt Version: 6.10.2 Kernel Version: 6.12.67-273-tkg-bore (64-bit) Graphics Platform: X11 Processors: 16 × AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 8-Core Processor Memory: 96 GiB of RAM (93.9 GiB usable) Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT (In reply to retired from comment #2) > I can still reproduce it with ksysguard6-git from AUR. Created attachment 149121 [details] demo SUMMARY I am using a 14 inch laptop with 1080p screen, no scaling makes everything tiny so I increased scaling to 125%, but it appears to cause font hop up and down very slightly. Breeze, Fusion and MS 9x styles are not affected STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Set scaling to 125%, haven't tried higher values, apart from 100%. Make sure that widget theme is set to Oxygen. 2. Open ksysguard switch to tab with graphs. 3. Updated numbers flicker on my system. OBSERVED RESULT Flickering text, video attached below. EXPECTED RESULT No eyesore. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.24.90 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.94.0 Qt Version: 5.15.4 Kernel Version: 5.17.9-zen1-1-zen (64-bit) Graphics Platform: X11 Processors: 8 × Intel® Core™ i7-3720QM CPU @ 2.60GHz Memory: 15.4 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: Mesa Intel® HD Graphics 4000 Manufacturer: LENOVO Product Name: redacted System Version: ThinkPad T430 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I tested with default fonts config (Noto), recorded with Ubuntu fonts. It happens to me on Xorg, but confirmed with wayland just in case. Kinda sucks that Oxygen fell out of favor, I am not a big fan of flat theming.
