User interface different each time I load the program.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Run the program
2. Try to add video - either won't add it ot will then crash or add it with no complaint
3. Click on "Logging Editing Audio Effects or Colour" and the whole display changes and can't get it back to how it started out and will not allow any video to be added.

Frankly I am getting fed up of this inconsistency with this program, it alienates the users and I am now looking for aqnother useable editor as many of the filters I use regularly are no-longer available and the WIKI is TEN YEARS thats 10 a 1 with a 0 following it, YEARS OUT OF DATE, so no help at all and this update from the version I was using, has changed so much I can't use it.

No change in display other than accesss those features.

Please note that 20.08.2 is about two years old and a lot has been changed/fixed in the meantime. Please download the latest offical version from https://kdenlive.org/download and try again.

I am not sure which Wiki you are talking about, but documentation is located at https://docs.kdenlive.org

Remember to update the version of this report and set the status of this report back to REPORTED if it still happens with the latest version or otherwise close it as RESOLVED FIXED
