Cannot reproduce with current git master; everything works fine for me. Did you remember to reboot after upgrading? Can you try restarting the powerdevil daemon with `kstart5 -- ~/kde/usr/lib64/libexec/org_kde_powerdevil --replace`? Does that fix it?
