SUMMARY
The file chooser portal provided by this component does not talk with kio slaves. For example, it is impossible to choose an Android phone's contents using MTP, or to choose a file through a remote FTP server. I have tested this with Firefox configured to use the xdg desktop portal file chooser.

EXPECTED RESULT
File picker should talk to kio slaves, to make any file accessible in Dolphin also able to be picked by any application

This is fixed in 5.25
