(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: konqueror
Version: KDE 3.0.2
Severity: normal
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
Compiler: Not Specified
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified

When dragging files in Konqueror or on the desktop the shift and control keys can be used to force the drag operation to take a specific action e.g. move copy or link instead of popping up a menu. When control is held down a small '+' icon appears near the cursor; when control and shift are both held down a 'shortcut' arrow icon appears. However (and here's the bug!) when holding down shift no extra icon appears to denote that the file is being moved without prompting. It might be nice to have a matching icon to denote this.

All reports about file management mode reported against KDE 3 (konqueror) has been closed: konqueror in KDE 3 is no more developed and mantained. All bugs and wishes which could be interesting for Dolphin in KDE 4 (the new KDE file manager) has been collected into a specific list.

Please try the new file manager before request new features and report bugs.

Before submitting new reports check carefully the already opened KDE/Dolphin reports in order to don't add duplicates.

Many thanks.
