Hey,

I cannot reproduce with the Krita Version: 5.2.0-prealpha (git 5c98a72) Appimage with Qt 5.15.7

Is this still relevant?
Comment 4 radian 2023-01-27 07:29:37 UTC
Checked on latest nightly build for windows, same brush, still relevant(
Also I noticed that there is no artifacts if brush size > 150px

I also cannot reproduce this with the provided preset and brush tip.
Comment 7 radian 2025-05-31 21:24:18 UTC
With this particular brush tip I can reproduce it on my win pc, can reproduce it in wsl krita build, can reproduce it on windows tablet. Most noticeable on neutral background and neutral brush color and (surprisingly) 16bit color.
Not going to say it's more than some very minor specific thing. Maybe I'll try to poke it myself.

Ah, with 16 bit/channel -- I missed that. I think we've actually got other reports for artefacts with rgba brushes with 16 bit channel. I think, though, that these brushes were designed only for 8 bit/channel images.
