STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. add a title with multiple lines and save
2. re-edit
3. extra lines have been added by the tool

OBSERVED RESULT
additional spacing (lines) added by the tool

EXPECTED RESULT
saved title on re-edit should be formatted unaltered by the text tool

Can you upload the Kdenlive file here just containing the title which is not working? Which language do you have set in Kdenlive?

Thank you. It appears to be working correctly following a reset of the config file.
