SUMMARY
***
Whenever I receive notifications from KDE Connect, a lot of them have buttons to do certain things like the "Reply" button. Clicking on them does nothing. For example, Instagram notifications have 2 buttons, "Like" and "Reply". Clicking on the "Like" button does nothing at all while clicking on the "Reply" button shows a small text box but then clicking on the "Send" button does nothing.
***

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Connect your PC and phone using KDE Connect.
2. Make sure notifications are turned on in KDE Connect settings.
3. Send yourself a message on Whatsapp/Instagram or any other platform from another phone to the connected android device.
4. See the notification on your PC and try clicking the buttons on the notifications.

OBSERVED RESULT
The buttons in the notifications don't work.

EXPECTED RESULT
The buttons should work.

I can also confirm this between Windows 10 and Android 12, so I'm not sure if this is the right component (I don't think it's platform-specific).

Recently simple buttons like "mark as read" started working. I have not tested reply buttons yet.
